What I Do

I’m a truth-telling advocate for justice with nearly two decades’ worth of experience organizing for social change in a deep red state.

I specialize in race, gender, immigration, climate, and LGBTQ+ issues, with an emphasis on the intersections. I’m a systems thinker with a sharp analysis of institutional and community dynamics. My strengths are in creating effective infrastructure, building equitable cultures, and reshaping power. I’m particularly good at connecting people, ideas, and groups to make things happen.

And I can really rock a spreadsheet.

What I Believe

The more radical the person is, the more fully she enters into reality so that, knowing it better, she can transform it. She is not afraid to confront, to listen, to see the world unveiled. She is not afraid to meet the people or to enter into a dialogue with them. She does not consider herself the proprietor of history or of all people, or the liberator of the oppressed; but she does commit herself, within history, to struggle at their side.
